Dekel Williams is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends East Coweta. Compact and slender frame with plenty of room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.58 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick runner to the baseball with a smooth release, drives through the baseball after gathering and has a feel in the outfield, topped out at 82 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow base and a high hand set, looseness to his hands creating a line drive swing plane, weight sits on his backside and tends to stay there, will get more bat speed and pop with adjustments to lower half in swing, things to project upon with proper adjustments, middle of the field approach. Great student.
