Markell Dixon is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Mccluer North. Recorded a 6.72 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Lean and slender build with plenty of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher with a fast and whippy arm. Loose and medium length arm action, comes from an over the top slot and utilizes a slower paced delivery. Lands in line with the plate on the foot strike, repeats the operation well, fastball showed arm side life. Flashed a curveball with 12-5 shape and changeup that has some swing and miss traits. Mixes speeds well and projects for more velocity as he fills out the frame. Secondary outfielder with an aggressive approach, attacks the ball with confidence. Athleticism stands out, shows good footwork and twitchy actions. Strong arm with great carry to the bag on the throws. Right-handed hitter with a tall stance and narrow base. Longer swing path, looks to lift and impact the ball to his pull side. Twitchy and high intent swing, looks to do damage with each pitch. The explosiveness is noticeable, good balance and extension with quick hands. Hit a couple of balls over the fence, power potential will continue to rise as he gets stronger.
