James Snipes is a 2022 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Etowah. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.18 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a big side-step to a higher leg lift out of the windup. Medium arm circle in the back and then delivered from a three-quarter slot. Ran the fastball up to 81 mph as he mixed in a running two-seamer as well that ultimately broke some bats. Proved to have feel to spin the breaking ball with 11-to-5 movements and a late fading changeup as well. Missed barrels and had total confidence in his arsenal. Pitchability showing in a big way as he big upside on the mound going forward. Secondary Third Baseman, great first step as he works to the baseball with urgency. Funnels it deep and then works into transfers. Arm strength showing as he threw it 81 mph with accuracy during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a wide base and lower hands. Deep load before throwing hands at the baseball. Ball jumps off the barrel when he finds it as he finishes up high. Looked to drive it back up the middle on a line and did so with some success.
