Matthew Barnhorst is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Ponte Vedra HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength, looks taller than listed. Right handed hitter, has a smooth and loose swing with good extension, creates good bat speed and repeats his mechanics and timing well, wore out the left centerfield alley in batting practice, looks to pull and drive the ball. 6.90 runner, has good footwork in the middle infield, works through the ball well with a quick release, on line carry to his throws. Pretty polished player who has some physical projection remaining. Excellent student.
