Charlie Bell is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Rome, GA who attends Darlington. Longer, lanky build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.25 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying tall at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online through finish. Showed a longer arm action with looseness going to a compact three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed at release. Showed a fastball with good control to both sides of the plate topping out at 76 MPH complemented with a developing curveball at 62 MPH and a interesting fading changeup creating a lot of swing and miss at 68 MPH. Also worked out in the outfield. Displayed quick footwork working to and through the baseball. Showed confident glove actions fielding to the side of the baseball with clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 78 MPH from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs an even stance with a leg lift trigger. Showed a rotational, upperhalf dominate swing. Flashed the ability to work to all fields with the ball jumping off the barrel best when creating line drives to the middle of the field. Showed a gap to gap approach looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield. Flashed the ability to get the ball into the gaps with driven line drives when on time and squared. Excellent student.
