Jeremy Acosta is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Warwick, NY who attends St. Joseph Regional. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, bars hands back into load, hands work inside-out through swing on line drive plane, worked up the middle and the opposite way, showed good contact skills. Worked out in the infield, moves well laterally to both sides, sits back on the ball a but, showed clean funnel in hands, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also pitched, compact arm stroke up to high three quarters slot, fastball worked 72-74 mph with some sinking life, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and some spin, also mixed in changeup and threw consistent strikes with all three pitches. Very good student.
