Kyle Becker is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Del Norte. Medium slender build with length that should fill out in the future. Primary outfielder, approaches the ball well with long athletic strides. Fluidity to and through the baseball. Easy throwing motion from an over the top slot, stays compact overall with solid carry to all bags. On the hill, uses a side step delivery with a mid to high leg lift. Longer arm action comes up to a high three-quarters arm slot. 78-80 mph fastball possesses some slight arm side run. Mixes in a 67 mph curveball but prefers to pitch with the fastball. At the plate, uses an upright narrow stance that begins slightly closed off. Heavy weight shift through the zone causes him to lunge at times. Hands have to travel a large distance back into his load. Elevated barrel plane creates consistent launch angle with some present pop to his pull side. Good student with a 3.5 GPA.
