Samuel Boyle is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Columbia River. Young athletic build with plenty of physical development remaining. Compact arm action that hides the ball well, short stride out front with some energy at release, tight 3/4's arm slot. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, gets good running life at times when low in the zone and works well to the arm side corner. Change up was a solid pitch with some feel and deception. Flashed good spin and tightness on his curveball but still developing consistency with the release point. Good student, verbal commitment to Washington.
