Luis Mejia is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends St. Mary's. Lean, athletic build with long limbs to both halves. Ran a 7.44 in the sixty yard dash. Infielder, good feel for the leather that showed in game. Sound range up the middle, defensive instincts. Solid glove that works through the bag well. Also showed a strong arm in outfield, where his athletic traits show out. Right-handed pitcher, high three-quarter slot with shorter and deliberate arm action behind the ear. Good fastball with some solid arm-side run. Has arm talent. Left-handed hitter, narrow base and open stance. Direct path with good hand speed. Intent in the path and solid contact to all fields. Athletic traits can really develop both sides. Excellent student.
