Russell Ramroop is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 6-5 280 lb. frame from Palmbay, FL who attends Bayside. Extra large build with plus, plus raw strength. 8.16 runner in the sixty. Move well at first base for his size defensively, has some idea on his footwork, throws from a low arm slot with good accuracy. Left handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a well coordinated shift into contact, high back elbow load can be late getting down at times, works the ball around the field with good hands through contact, still developing the lift needed for power from his his frame. Also pitched, long arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, stays tall on his back side, has a loose wrist out front, low effort delivery with good rhythm. Fastball worked up to 75 mph, got over barrels consistently, still developing feel for his breaking ball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
