Akhil Nimmala is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Strawberry Crest. XL frame with long, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.77 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, quiet load, smooth launch into on-plane swing, big time power, multiple 103-104 mph exit home runs in BP, can really impact the ball into the air, plus power projection long term. Worked out in the infield, profiles well at 3B, solid lateral agility with hand actions that work well, clocked up to 91 mph on throws across the diamond, ball comes out well and has good carry. Excellent student, committed to UCF. Named to 2023 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
