Stephen Cherepanya is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B, SS with a 5-9 174 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lyman. Medium frame with a stocky, physical build showing a strong lower half. Ran a 8.61 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Longer arm action with an over the top arm slot. Stayed direct to the plate showing loose, easy mechanics. Went right after hitters as he was around the zone at all times. Fastball topping out at 73 MPH with slight cut actions to it. Curveball showed 12-to-6 movements that he landed for strikes. Secondary Firstbaseman showing clean footwork, attacking the baseball out front. Glove proving to be strong as he worked into quicker transfers. Accuracy with throws proving he can change up arm angles as well. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with an open front side. Big weight transfer forward while hands stay deep before working into a linear swing path. Middle of the field approach looking to lift the baseball at times. Outstanding Student.
