Alan Caretta is a 2019 OF/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Montverde, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Large and durable frame that projects well. Ran a 7.43 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the baseball out in front, comes through it well with athletic actions, gains ground to target on release with a high front side as the arm comes through the stroke, stays online with body and arm action that is quick through the back producing up to 85 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, incorporates lower half into swing well but could do it more consistently for repeated results, long hand path to the baseball with a slight lift to the swing, flashes bat speed when lower half is used properly, could look to repeat swing but shows promise. Good student.
