Ryan Valdes is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends G. Holmes Braddock. Medium, athletic build with some room to continue adding strength onto the frame. Good runner, ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, obvious athleticism working through the baseball with a one hand gather on the side, lower release height and obvious arm strength on display in the round. Confident actions and a bounce to the step, recorded throws up to 92 mph. Right-handed hitter, open front side with a narrow base, knee lift trigger stride, works best to the opposite field gap. Developing true feel for the barrel, worked hard to get inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field. Good student. Named to WWBA Workout Showcase (Sat) Top Prospect List.
