Nathan Hook is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Riverview. Slender young frame with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. High leg lift delivery, full arm action in back coming to a 3/4's arm slot, mechanics are smooth and repeatable. Fastball was in the 75-77 mph range the entire outing, lots of late life and occasional big arm side running action. Big breaking 11/5 curveball that he lands for strikes, will occasionally drop in a firm change up for another look. Works quickly and fills up the strike zone, got lots of weak contact and swing and miss this outing, kept his pitch count very low. Stuff will continue to improve as he gets stronger and has a very mature presence on the mound. Fields his position well.
