Chris Mastandrea is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 186 lb. frame from Middletown, NY who attends Minisink Valley. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.66 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working cleanly to and through the baseball as he gathers it deep in the stance. Shuffles into transfers and then released from a side-arm slot. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 71 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a closed front side while balanced. Bat waggle and then works into separation. Longer swing path as he worked into a downhill swing path. Looked to let the baseball travel and then drive it the other way. Proved to have some thump in the bat when he squared it up. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
