Jason Torres is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-4 152 lb. frame from Warwick, NY who attends Warwick Valley. Smaller frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 8.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers deep in the stance. Scoops it up and then flips it into other hand before releasing. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 72 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting open with the front-side before working into a knee turn and toe tap. Strides out and then flashed a linear swing path. Gets extended as he looks to pull the baseball when possible. Generated power when he squared it up and he proved to have some thump in the bat.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
