Braden Graves is a 2023 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Corryton, TN who attends Gibbs. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build and broad shoulders. Ran a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, good first step actions as he showed off the lateral range. Feel for the leather present as he scooped it up out front before a quick release. Arm strength present as he threw it 85 mph with carry across the diamond. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a belt high lift. Medium arm circle in the back as he drives down the hill getting extended. Quick arm stroke as he was up to 88 mph while pounded the glove side. Mixed in a sharp 11-to-5 breaking ball in the upper-60's as well. Confident on the mound as he carved hitters up. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the ball a bit as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Two-hand gather at times. Arm plays here as he released uphill throwing it 82 mph. Young actions but has the arm strength to get it done. Right-Handed Hitter, even base and is slightly open with the front side. Creates separation while working into a short stride. Stays linear through the zone as he looks to drive it to the pull-side. Proved to have some pop when he timed the baseball up properly. Good Student. Named to Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
