Jackson Bellhorn is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends The Master's Academy. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength to frame, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, begins with a side step moving into delivery, hands stay close to body throughout, leg lift up past belt with a short gather on backside over the rubber. Works to a high three-quarters and nearly over-the-top at times, worked around the zone and showed comfort for mixing and keeping hitters off balance. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly true in life, able to induce weak contact off of the barrel. Maintains high release on curveball and able to generate 12-6 shape to the pitch through the zone up to 71 mph; showed a harder slider at 75 mph and mixed a changeup at 73 mph as well. Extra step moving to the ball in the infield, fields it out front, works on top of throws, will continue to refine overall actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; clears front side well in swing, upper body dominant swing with a contact oriented approach, can implement additional lower half moving into contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
