Sean Bencosme is a 2020 SS/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Recorded a 7.14 second 60-yard dash time. Lean athletic frame with lots of room to project physically. Primary shortstop with good athleticism, quick feet, and pretty soft hands. Arm strength is solid with super clean hands and gets rid of the ball quickly. Good feel at the position with arm strength recorded up to 83 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher with upside. Easy delivery with a loose arm stroke and good present arm speed. Easy release and comes out of the hand clean. Breaking ball has some short depth that will improve by throwing it harder. High ceiling potential arm. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and shows power to both gaps. Swing is clean with good hand speed and has a lot of pre pitch hand movement. Good bat speed with good potential to grow into power. Named to the Sunshine East TP List. Good student.
