Nick Delucia is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium atheltic build. Employs a simple, low effort delivery and repeats it really well. Uses a leg lift to the core and lands on line at foot strike. Releases from a high slot. Worked the fastball up to 80 mph and came out of the hand clean. Landed curveball with 11-5 shape for strikes at will. Dropped in his changeup for strikes as well and was effective versus left-handed hitters. Advanced feel for pitching and sequenced really well with three-pitch repertoire. Pounded the strike zone with all pitches while missing bats. Athletic with a quick arm and really projects. Great student. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
