Dylan Arriaga is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Sinton, TX who attends Sinton. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.44 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, clean receiving skills with athleticism, receives with two hands out front, quickness to arm and works on top of throws well, ball comes out cleanly across the diamond, shows ability to drop slot, takes angles well and plays low. Also pitched, small gather step into a leg kick up to chest; clean hand break with a full arm action through the back. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, showed short running life, inconsistent timing at release on occasion, best when keeping it low in zone and mixed a 1-7 shaped curveball up to 62 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a hand set away from body and lower set, shows quickness to them and utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Gets to front side early at times, shows strength and quickness at point of contact, nice tools to follow moving forward, creates occasional lift, ball comes off well when squared. Named to 13u/14u South Top Prospect List.
