Camden Newsom is a 2025 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Timberland. Medium young build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow upright stance with a long stride into contact, gets off balance on his front side at times due to the size of his shift, long and flat swing with a middle of the field approach, handled the barrel well. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has a good release on his throws with the ability to throw from different slots, developing arm strength and carry, can get his glove into position sooner on ground balls. Also played some outfield. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
