Carter Scheben is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Union, KY who attends St. Henry District. Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength with continued physical maturity. Primary catcher with a low, even stance while receiving the baseball. Creates good direction to the bag while working out of crouch with loose footwork. Clean, quick exchanges and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Right handed hitter with an upright, narrow stance and simple leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed some strength at contact that will continue to develop with maturity. Primarily worked to the middle of the field and opposite field gap.
