Austin Aldous is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends American Leadership Academy. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.43 seconds. Hits from spread stance with leg lift trigger, bars hands back into load with barrel wrap, has bat speed on lengthier path, pull-side approach with linear plane, good barrel in that direction, projects for power. Worked out in the infield, hands work well, projects at 3B, clean footwork with smooth actions, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also pitched, online stride with 3/4 arm slot, fastball worked 77-79 mph with life to arm side, flashed curveball with teeth on 11/5 plane, two plane SL as well, good upside as two-way player. Good student.
