Santiago Carriles-Alvarado is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Ran a 7.83 second 60 yard dash. A primary catcher with a young build and room to fill, he starts with a square stance, the transfer is clean with a slight pause at the top into a throw that showed some arm strength with good carry on the ball, he posted a 2.12 second pop time which should only come down from there as the arm strength continues to develop. At the plate his righthanded swing starts with high hands and a small leg lift trigger, he does a nice job getting the foot back down as he worked in the middle of the field. Excellent student.
