Cole Cote is a 2019 C/SS with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Welland, ON who attends Notre Dame. Large and projectable frame with some strength present and more room to fill. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up at the plate with a side saddle stance and high hips, comes up out of his crouch and carries his weight into throws, showed flashes of a clean transfer with a strong arm up to 77 mph from behind the plate, 1.89 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even base, creates a downhill path to the baseball, stays compact with stroke with rotational actions, all field approach. Good student.
