Jack Brinson is a 2022 OF/RHP, C, UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westwood. Ran a 7.14 60 yard dash. Tooled up player with solid two-way potential. Athletic frame with a solid run tool. On the mound, small gather step into a bigger leg kick that's up to his chest. Longer arm circle and throws from a high three quarters slot. Stays online throughout the delivery. His fastball was up to 84 MPH and he located the pitch well. He pairs it with a solid slider that was around 75 MPH and showed good depth to it with 11/5 shape. Good actions behind the plate and has a quick transfer. Quick arm that works well in the outfield and behind the plate. He posted a 1.92 pop time. At the plate, gets great extension and the swing has strength to it. His highest exit velocity was 84 MPH and has nice juice to pullside. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
