2009 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Nathan Schickling is a 2009 LHP with a 6'2'', 160 lb. frame from LeClaire, IA who attends Pleasant Valley HS. Tall thin build, projects some strength. Tall delivery, good direction, OH relesae, some effort to the plate. FB touched 87 mph, mostly 83-84, tails low in zone. Occ big break on downer CB, might be SL guy in future. Nice change up, good arm speed/deception. Good athlete who swings the bat, competes hard. Can pitch at the next level.
