Carlos Delgado is a 2022 1B/3B with a 5-8 200 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Somerset Academy Charter. Medium frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 8.00 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on it as he does a good job trusting the glove to do the work. Proper footwork showing while turning two and around the bag. Accurate throws up to 69 mph. Feel for the position showing. Secondary Third Baseman, limited range as he gathers out front. Funnels to the side at times before transferring. Extra steps into release as he threw it 65 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, even base with lower hands before working into separation. Knee lift trigger to stride. Lands hard on front side before working into a longer path. Proved to have some pop to the pull-side when he timed the baseball up properly. Power in the swing present. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
