Sean Shelly is a 2022 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Large frame with a filled out build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he does a good job keeping it in front of him. Glove works as he scoops it up with ease. Proper footwork showing as he worked around the baseball and delivered throws on the money turning two. Feel for the position present and projects here going forward. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Higher leg lift as he gets to the top before driving downhill. Medium arm circle to a higher slot release as he gets down the hill. Fastball up to 83 mph as he pounded the zone. Breaking ball showing depth in low-70's. Rounded arsenal off with a fading changeup in the low-70's. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced as he works into a big leg lift to stride. Fires the hips and hands as he looks to do damage. Proved he could leverage the baseball as he showed off the power to the pull-side. Lift in the swing present as he left the yard to the pull-side. Projects power down the road. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
