Dylan Fernandez is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward, has present strength. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, moves well on feet, extra step moving through the ball, compact arm action through the backside with a lower slot on throws across. Right-handed hitter, begins with a square stance and utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Turns over the barrel well and shows strength at the point of contact, does a nice job of remaining on time and can impact even when hands are inside the ball. Moves into contact with balanced, best contact when extended out front, nice tools to build upon moving forward. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
