Kelvin Y Ayala is a 2022 SS/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Toa Baja, PR who attends Escuela Especializada en baseball. Taller and wiry frame with a young look. Ran a 6.71 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder with smooth actions and a quick transfer and release. Good first step and has range to both sides. The actions project nicely. Also showed good angles in the outfield with good timing coming through the ball. A switch-hitter, fluid stroke with good extension from the left side and times it well, looking to pull line drives. A bit more linear and flat from the right side looking to spray the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
