Zane Culler is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Winston-Salem, NC who attends Forsyth Country Day. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts with a leg lift up to belt, drop and drive lower half mechanics coming down the mound and lands slightly open with strike foot; shorter arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Some deception at release, fastball topped out at 78 mph with sinking life, pitched to contact and worked to both sides of the plate while filling the zone. Shorter, lateral break on slider up to 69 mph, mixed it well and threw strikes with the offering; flashed a straight changeup at 70 mph. Shorter steps on the approach to the ball in the outfield, deliberate tempo, plays low, shows accuracy on throws to intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Contact oriented approach, creates best contact when working on a linear plane through the zone which results in line drive contact, consistent feel for the barrel throughout round.
