Brings it to his chest nicely for a quick transfer and release. Moves well laterally with quick feet. Works around the bell well and shuffles a bit during the gather and throw. Made throws with easy strength and accuracy behind them. Profiles well on the corner. Also roamed the outfield and works through the ball well with an athletic process. Made strong throws on a line. Ran a 7.50 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with quick/loose arm. Smooth delivery starting on the edge of the rubber towards first base. Uses a high leg raise and works downhill quick getting good drive off his back leg while maintaining good balance. Shorter arm action to the plate but still gets good extension. Fastball had good late life through the zone and was located well. Sequenced well with a 12-6 curve that he threw whenever and wherever he pleased. Good depth and shape to the curve. Tough to differentiate between pitches throwing both from the same slot. Right-handed hitter who starts out slightly open with a balanced base. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
