Cooper Chunn is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Tall, lean frame with room to continue to fill. Good runner, 6.94 sixty. Right-handed hitter, square base with high back elbow set. Simple weight transfer into contact, level barrel path with sound approach. Power will continue to come as he fills out and adds strength. Primary outfielder, solid actions with clean gather and good arm strength with accuracy and carry to the bag. Has some natural feel for the position. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the stretch primarily with a higher leg kick and sidearm release. Fastball has a ton of arm-side life, up to 76 mph with spin rates up to 2003 RPM. A slider was also thrown in the upper-60s with spin rates up to 1784 RPM. Creates a very tough angle for right-handed hitters. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
