Vincent Grimaldi is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Peter's Boys. Recorded a 8.19 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and compact build with some room to fill. Primary catcher with a side straddle set up, has some flexibility in the lower half and is pretty sound mechanically. Quick transfer and release, limited glovework at present, does a good job of keeping his momentum going towards the target, will improve as he gets stronger. Secondary right-handed pitcher, shorter arm action with a slight hitch, comes from an over the top slot. Tall and fall lower half mechanics with limited backside drive, lives at the top of the zone with the fastball. Generated groundballs during his outing, shows a breaking ball with limited action at present, will slow his arm down to throw it. Arm trails body at times, will change up his tempo, velocity increased when he increased his leg lift and tapped into his backside more. Right-handed hitter with with narrow and upright stance, has a high hand and back elbow set. Will often drift over the front side when making his move forward, short and linear bat path through the zone. Fairly consistent and simple operation overall, was able to repeat it, stays through the middle of the field with a line drive approach.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
