2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Philip Mazzola is a 2025 C/UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Saint James, NY who attends St. Anthony's. Slender young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 5.08 runner in the forty. Primary catcher on defense, has a solid fundamental base in his actions, quick and compact exchange on his throws, makes accurate throws with good carry, moves well side to side and stays balanced well, has been well coached, will keep improving as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an open base with an exaggerated high hand load, gets hands down in time and has nice hand quickness firing at the ball, handled the barrel well with consistent hard middle of the field line drive contact. Excellent student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
