Gavin Martin is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, GA who attends Richmond Hill. Medium lead build currently with good frame to add muscularity and plenty of time to make it happen. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Primary position C, with solid game like actions in workout reps. Good lower body flexibility and mobility showing quick exchange to midline. Foot work is quick and on point leading to throws up to 76 mph with a 2.07 best pop time on bag. Performed well in game action as well. Reps in the OF, attacking the ball and fielding off to the side. Arm showed well here too generating throws up to 82 mph. RHH working from a spread stance, getting deep into legs and quick movements to his initial load. Emerging hand speed with some length to the barrel but there is real strength at contact when timed up and extended. Showed good loft and power projection towards the end of his round, especially when he stayed in the middle of the field. Interesting follow as an offensive backstop. Good student.
