Isaac Rose is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Bremen, KY who attends Muhlenberg County. Recorded a 7.19 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to add additional strength. Primary left-handed pitcher with a long, loose arm action and slight cross body release. Works from a mid-to-even three quarters arm slot, dropping to sidearm on occasion for added deception. Fastball sat in the mid-80s, topping out at 86 mph with some arm-side movement. Shows ability to command both sides of the plate with full mix, flashing varying shapes and spin to his curveball while neutralizing both right-handed and left-handed hitters. Secondary outfielder with a deliberate fielding process, present arm strength and carry to his throws. Recorded throws up to 84 mph in drills. Left-handed hitter with wide based stance, rotational lower half mechanics and some present bat speed. Contact oriented stroke, slightly elongated swing path with occasional barrel accuracy and carry to ball flight. Aggressive approach that will continue to improve with some proper swing adjustments. Excellent Student. Named to the 2020 Perfect Game Academic Top Prospect List.
