Tanner Dominguez is a 2022 C/RHP, MIF with a 5-6, 142 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends Katella High School. Primary catcher with a compact frame. Solid pop time and carry to the throws. Also participated in MIF drills. Had some accurate throws with good angles. Solid transfers and arm strength on the move. Has some foot speed towards the ball. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a fluid delivery from a high three-quarter slot. Repeats it well. Fastball topped 80 mph, also showed some feel for spin with a low-70s slider. Right-handed batter, small wiry build. Balanced, upright stance with strong hands. Showed some ability to pull the ball with bat speed. A bit of loft in the path, can tap into more hard contact as he incorporates his lower half. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
