Nate Pitts is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-7 136 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Lean athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.12 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Displayed aggressive quick footwork working to and through the baseball in the outfield. Creates good momentum into throws with good transfers and developing arm strength with accurate online carry to the bases topping out at 73 miles per hour from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs an even stance with a quick leg lift trigger. Utilizes a flat plane looking to drive line drives to the middle and opposite fields. Showed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with solid line drives consistently throughout batting practice. Also pitched at the event. Exclusive stretch delivery staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and falling off slightly to the first base side through finish. Showed a long loose arm action going to an extended three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed. The extended three-quarter arm slot shows crossfire actions in delivery creating good deception to the hitter. Flashed a fastball with late arm side run up to 77 miles per hour thrown for consistent strikes creating a lot of soft contact.
