Alex Wilson is a 2023 OF/ with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Large durable 6-foot-3 frame that showed proper foot technique that produced quality carry and accuracy on his throw in from the outfield. At the plate, he was one of the most impressive in-game performers finding barrel on multiple occasions. The set up is with wide base and moderate leg kick, he uses his length to generate leverage on lofted barrels working gap to gap. Loud round of batting practice with intent to wear out the right center field gap. Explosive swing that he gets off on time and in rhythm. 6.93 60-yard. Outstanding student. Selected to the Top Prospect list.
