Kayden Shaw is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends John F. Kennedy. Taller and athletic build with a high waist and live body. Ran a 7.41 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, takes good angles and keeps the feet moving through the ball. Puts himself in good positions to make all plays. A secondary outfielder, softer hands and a powerful crow hop with good direction to the bases. A switch-hitter, LH-starts upright with a narrow and open base. Tips the barrel hard with a high elbow and launches to good bat speed and some length through the zone. RH-similar set up and uses his core more, with strength at contact. Looks to get the barrel out and pull. Outstanding student.
