Noah Potencion is a 2023 C/3B, SS, OF with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Daly City, CA who attends Junipero Serra. Medium build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Primary catcher has a side saddle set up with a quick transition gaining ground on throws down. Threw a 2.02 pop time down to second base.,Also worked out in the infield, showed the ability to make the routine plays, displayed good footwork with soft hands. Still developing a quick transfer but displayed accurate throws. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, gets down hill quickly and hides the ball well throughout his delivery. The fastball sat 72-77 mph with slight arm side run working best at the bottom of the zone. Threw a lot of strikes and attacked hitters early. Flashed a slider that sat 66 mph with some tilt and occasional bite. Showed the ability to generate swing and misses. Right handed hitter, jits from an even base with a leg kick. The hands start high above the ear, has an opposite field approach. Consistently made soft contact to right field. Good student.
