Cole Jones is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Berkeley, CA who attends Bishop O Dowd. Features a medium frame with a high-waisted/athletic build. Excellent runner who ran a 6.47 60-yard dash. In the OF, showed a more relaxed approach to the baseball. There’s lightness to his feet where he would use both hands at catchpoint. Easy quickness to the arm that was up to 93 mph with carry. At the plate, he sits in a relaxed narrow stance with lower hanging hands. No negative movement to the load as the body works away from hands. Hands dominate the swing that flashed some quickness through the zone on a more direct path. More of an opposite field approach throughout his BP round.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
