2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Nick Hardt-Mason is a 2023 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Morgan Hill, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Medium build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary 1B who worked around the bag smoothly and comfortably. His throws across the diamond topped out at 73 mph. Soft hands shown on the defensive end. At the plate he hits out of a slightly open, upright stance. Toe tap load creates some leverage throughout the swing and he flashed some pull side power. On the mound he throws out of a 3/4 arm slot and his FB sat 69-75 mph. The FB showed cutting action when working to the glove side. His SL showed late tilt to it while also flashing a CH at 65 MPH. Excellent student.
