Grant Kinzel is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Fair Oaks Ranch, TX who attends Boerne - Samuel V Champion. Features a big, physical build. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman. Showed the ability to make the routine play when glove gets down on time. Range profiles well for the position. Uses short arm action into strong throws and feeds. Threw 78 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a high hand setup into a long, lofted path. Gets extended well out front. Uses strength to produce hard hit contact often. Can find the barrel frequently. Right-handed pitcher. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a medium length arm action. Fastball sat 76-79 mph. Threw the offering for strikes consistently with the ability to generate weak contact often. Paired it with a mid-60’s curveball showing solid depth. Still developing confidence in the offering.
