Ishaan Khambal is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a quick turn to start his delivery, deep arm takeaway in back, 3/4's arm slot coming through, some energy at release but repeats well. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, very high spin rate fastball, works his fastball arm side very well and gets inside to right handed hitters. Throws a quality slider for his breaking ball, tight spin with a short well controlled break, lands the pitch and uses it effectively against left handed hitters. Threw a couple of firm change ups for strikes. Has a feel for pitching and attacks hitters with multiple pitches. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a lift and replace trigger. Has a short swing with middle of the field line drive contact, swings hard and looks to impact the ball. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
