Anthony Sotelo is a 2026 MIF/RHP, C with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Oakland, CA who attends Bishop O Dowd. Features a lean build with some athleticism present. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Moves well laterally with the ability to cover ground in both directions. Clean glove actions catch the ball consistently. Showed accurate throws across, reaching 78 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance into a simple timing mechanism with a slight arm bar load. Swings on a direct path. Approach stays gap to gap consistently. More power should come as more strength is added. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a simple, low effort delivery down the mound. Uses a longer arm action. Fastball sat 74-77 mph with the ability to locate it well. Can get uncomfortable whiffs with mid-60’s curveball. Also flashed a mid-60’s changeup with spin rate near 1200 rpm. Throws all three offering for strikes. Excellent student.
